sinetron cost

hi,guys..

i'm just thinking about simple thing, our original indonesian tv show; or we can say sinetron.

Maybe most of you are agree with me that sinetron is all hyperobolic. The story is all about 1 people tortured by other. Actually I forget when the last sinetron I followed. I think when I'm still in elementary school. But since that time until now, the story is just around that circles. Some of it are good in the early episodes, but when it continued, the story becomes boring and hyperbolic (remember tersanjung 7??). We all know that sinetron is also uneducate, specially for children. The point is, I really can't enjoy any sinetron, no offense for you who like it.hehe!

But, yesterday I saw gossip (third best show after jalan2 and maknyus2an) about young actress that cought when she was having drugs party. It's not her behaviour that I aware, but the gossip told me she gets about Rp.130million per episode. whaaat?? always that high for every artist? Then I found in google that acting yield are between Rp.500.000 - Rp.300.000.000 (Kompas,Juli 2006!). So I conclude that 'sinetron world' is using so much money. I don't want to approximate and calculate how much the cost for 1 sinetron or for all sinetron that showed, i know it must be so high. You can compare with other business (with more useful output for society).

Okay, If sinetron always cost very high, why they can't make a better story???? Logically, you have to spent Rp.130 million for every artist and story maker, so you must want they act very well, also the story. But, the fact is not like that..Maybe because the rating's high, they keep making such a typical story. But i don't think it's because many people like that, we just don't have preference. All the show are same, mau ga mau ya ditonton.

Director, sinetron maker, producer, please make more qualify and educate sinteron, so you don't lose out your money for NOTHING..

The Golden Ways

Long time no see!

One day, I watched Metro TV and found out a very interesting show. It was about Mario Teguh and his book named The Golden Ways. Wow! I really found it very interesting and moreover inspiring,

I don't know what the book explained but at least, from the conversation, I think it was about friendship (they sang 'You've Got A Friend' there). What I've learn there is that we should not create enemies. Let our enemies become our friends by let them win.

Let them win? How could? Then we lost? No, what Mario Teguh said is that we have to become a winner by letting our opponent won. Sure it is hard to do, but, it is a very good thinking. Do we really become a loser when we lost? No, we bocome the real winner when we know we can win for sure, yet we let our opponent to win.

There's another interesting one. He said that to befriend we have to give something to someone. How can we give something we have nothing at all? And he said, "We can give someone without loving him/her, but we cannot love someone without giving him/her. When we say give, it means give everything. Give him/her yourself, your whole heart and feelings, tell him/her that you will always be there, for him/her." Nicely done, eh? To love means to give. Yeah, I agree!

So, people. There are many ways to befriend with others even your enemy. The Golden Ways is just one thing. You can create your own way. At least, you should keep this in mind.

Always be a winner, even when you lose!

Smile Eternally,
Wirapati
